Consul Moeur was a founding member and past Principal of Arizona Gakuen School. Arizona Gakuen is a non-profit organization that teaches academic subjects in Japanese language to Arizona children.
He is also a member of the Japan Business association of Arizona.
In 2015, Consul Moeur was recognized by the Government of Japan for service in promoting international friendship and understanding.
