Lars Lagerman’s practice emphasizes all aspects of commercial and residential real property development and financing. Mr. Lagerman has negotiated and documented all types of loans for the acquisition, development and construction of single family residential subdivisions, shopping centers, hotels and office buildings. He also has negotiated and documented major credit facilities for the acquisition, development and construction of master planned communities and golf courses, and revolving credit lines for builders and developers in numerous jurisdictions, including Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Maryland and New York. In addition, Mr. Lagerman has represented lenders in connection with real estate loan workouts and foreclosures, receiverships and guarantee enforcement.
Mr. Lagerman has represented a number of major developers and homebuilders in the acquisition and development of residential subdivisions and master planned communities, including hotels, golf courses and recreational facilities in Arizona, California and neighboring states. He also has represented developers and land owners in connection with regulatory compliance, land use and entitlement issues. Mr. Lagerman is involved in public land issues and transactions before the Arizona State Land Department.
Mr. Lagerman also has an international commercial transaction practice, with a particular emphasis on work for U.S. companies engaged in resort and energy developments in Mexico and on Scandinavian companies operating or investing in the United States. Mr. Lagerman was born and grew up in Sweden.
